Works on the territory of the museum-estate “Polotnyany Zavod” in the Kaluga region
Description:
The historical, architectural and natural museum-estate “Polotnyany Zavod” was ceremonially opened on June 5, 1999, on the bicentennial of the birth of A.S. Pushkin, as a branch of the Kaluga Regional Museum of Local History (now the Kaluga United Museum-Reserve). Polotnyany Zavod is a unique estate-factory architectural complex that arose in the 18th century. Two estates have been preserved here – the Goncharovs and the Shchepochkins.
The tourist infrastructure is also actively developing, thanks to which lost historical buildings are also being restored. Work on the territory of the settlement Polotnyany Zavod has been carried out since 2014 and continues to this day.
Completed works:
Development of scientific and design documentation for the reconstruction of the Weaving Building of the estate; A set of repair and restoration works on the entrance group of the main house of the estate from the side of the Sukhodrev River, construction of a retaining wall; Construction of a fence.
