“The Gostiny Dvor Ensemble, 1784” is a cultural heritage site of federal significance and one of the main symbols of our city. Its construction began in 1784. The ensemble concentrated famous trading houses, it was the center of city and provincial business. All work on this site was carried out in accordance with the design documentation under the guidance of the author’s and technical supervision, using modern materials and technologies that are optimally suited for this site.
Description:
The work was carried out in the summer of 2015 based on the general outline restoration project of 2009 and the working documentation developed by us in 2014.This object is an example of a complete reconstruction and historical recreation of the external appearance of an architectural monument.
Completed works:
Development of working scientific design documentation;
Carrying out a full range of works on the restoration of historical masonry of walls, lintels,
Restoration of window and door openings;
Recreation of decorative elements of facades;
Recreation of plaster and paint layers;
Construction (recreation) of historical forged elements: second floor grilles, first floor gates and shutters;
Construction of canopies;
A range of repair and restoration works on the roof, including complete replacement of the roof covering and restoration of the drainage system.
